Statement of Rates

Thank you for your interest in our virtual services. You’ll find that our rates are competitive with other virtual assistants; however, at Virtual Assist Services it is our passion, experience, integrity, dedication, loyalty, commitment, and professionalism that set us apart from the rest. We know that your success keeps us in business and we strive to make every client successful.

We offer a variety of pricing packages to choose from, including: hourly rates, monthly retainer packages, and prepaid time options.

Terms and Conditions

An initial forty-five minute phone consultation is provided free of charge.
All work will require a signed service agreement and an advance deposit before work begins.
Billing is tracked in 15-minute increments.
Last-minute rush projects and/or after-hours (after 6pm and Sundays) work will be considered on a case-by-case basis and may be subject to a 25% rush order fee.
Rates are billed as a 1099 independent contractor with no additional expenses for taxes, benefits, down-time, or overhead. You pay only for the time on task and nothing more!

Hourly Rates

Hourly rates work best for those who have a small one-time project, require intermittent work, or have job requirements totaling less than 6 hours within a 60 day period. —Otherwise, see our retainer packages and prepaid time discounted rate schedule below.

Our standard rate is $40 per hour.
A five (5) hour prepaid deposit is required before any work can begin.
Hourly clients are invoiced upon completion of work, less deposit.
Full payment is due within 14 business days and a $10 late fee will apply to delinquent payments.
Invoices not reconciled within 30 days will incur an additional $15 late payment penalty and $15 administrative fee each month thereafter until paid in full or legally settled.
Initial deposit for hourly support is fully refundable, less work performed, should the project entail less than 5 hours of work.

Retainer Packages

Retainer packages are designed for clients who maintain a consistent month-to-month work load. These clients receive a discounted hourly rate as well as priority scheduling of their projects and tasks. By opting for retainer-structured billing, you are guaranteed that I am able to plan ahead and set aside the specific number of hours you purchase on an ongoing, monthly basis.

Retainer packages are sold in 3-month, 6-month, and 12-month contract periods.
A six (6) hour monthly minimum is required for this package.
Retainer fees must be paid in full before monthly services begin.
Unused retainer hours will not be carried over into the next month and are not refundable.
Additional hours may be purchased at your discounted rate, as time permits, but will not receive priority scheduling.
Should you terminate your retainer prior to its end date, rates will revert to our standard rate of $40 per hour for all services performed during the retainer period and you will be back-billed accordingly.

Retainer Discounts are as follows:

3 month retainer @ discount rate of 10% = $36 per hour

6 month retainer @ discount rate of 15% = $34 per hour

12 month retainer @ discount rate of 25% = $30 per hour

Prepaid Time Blocks

A prepaid time block is a short-term, cost-effective option that allows you to pre-select your rate based on the hours that you need.

Prepaid time can be purchased in any amount you choose, with a 6-hour minimum.
Prepaid time is valid for 60 days from the date of contract execution.
Additional prepaid time can be purchased as needed (in 3-hour increments) and is invoiced and payable in advance.
Prepaid time is non-refundable and cannot be carried over past 60 days.

OJT Discounts

We gladly provide on-the-job training discounts for those projects that are within our realm of ability while outside of our scope of knowledge and require a degree of learning to complete. Please inquire about your specific project.
